Point Blank Medical is a young Australian owned medical company headquartered in Sydney with a national footprint across Australia. Established in 2012, Point Blank Medical has its roots in 25 combined years of national and international clinical / surgical sales and marketing.
We love spending time in neurosurgical, spinal and orthopaedic operating rooms supporting our products with surgeons and nurses where we can contribute to better patient outcomes.

Meet the team
Our Key Team
Ertan Ozer is a Graduate in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Sydney. After doing 3 years in the Aero field, Ertan then embarked in the Medical world as a support engineer in Australia and the Asia Pacific doing Image guided surgery in neuro, ortho and spinal surgery. He then moved to Germany and onto the UK, continuing as a Regional Sales Manager in Medical products. He then moved back to Australia, and founded Point Blank Medical in 2012 and is one of the founding Directors.
Zacks has a biomedical background with over 20 years experience in spinal and neuro theatres. Zacks was one of the pioneers in bringing spine hardware to Australia. He promoted spine hardware and supported surgical procedures in the late 1990s and early 2000s, which continues even today. Zacks was proudly amongst the first spine product managers in Australia. Zacks is now one of the founding directors of Point Blank Medical, performing a marketing and clinical sales directorship support role. Through this 20 plus years, he has been instrumental in identifying and introducing unique products and solutions to the surgical community in Australia. He is passionate about giving surgeons the very best tools and solutions to help their patients get the best outcomes.
Elaine Foong has over 30 years experience in finance, specialising in customer service and office management. Joining PBM in 2013, Elaine has acquired a vast knowledge of medical producst and has been pivotal in our growth and success.
Eric Orpilla is a highly qualified technical consultant who has a cumulative 18 years experience in the Medical Industry, in the area of Image Guided Surgery and Stereotactic Radiosurgery. He holds a Bachelor’s degree as a Physicist (UTS, Sydney Australia) and has a strong background in current computing technology.
